I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Whispering it from the roof tops

Received something very nice in the mail today. Something that I'm not sure I can share yet. Not a sale, or an invite, but good news none-the-less. It certainly made me dance a little jig.

I'm pretty sure the person involved read this blog at least once before and left a comment about "readin' my blogroll and stealin' all my 's'es." You know who you are, you know what you said, thanks for the info. It made my week. It really did. Thanks.

Another step. Another milestone passed.

Soon the world will be mine! Oh, wait, that's the other plan.

Hey, congrats! For, er, whatever it is.

It sure sounds nice.

Thanks Todd. It is nice.. I just don't want to say what it is for fear of jinxing it, but I'm still vibrating from it.

Maybe I can get away with saying that it was a personal note on something. Not a rejection letter (I could share that, and have before). I'm in new territory on this one. Another milestone passed (it maybe a small one compared to other author's milestones and goals, but it's one I had never the less, I might have more detailed plans than others).
