I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Happy Halloween

Things that are scary:

1. Received an email from Sears that yesterday was the new "Black Friday" (the day after Thanksgiving). AYIIEE!

2. Having more candy than trick or treaters. Oh No!

3. The Weather Channel using the theme from Jaws as it's background music for your "Local on the 8's" forecast. Brains!

4. Nothing good on TV. ARGH!

5. Not sure if my LJ syndication site is updating. Bwahahaha!

Happy Halloween. Boo!

We got our first trick-or-treater EVER today!

Of course she was two, and her mom & dad made a special trip into town to visit else we would have had none again, but STILL!

A trick-or-treater!

Walking into a drug store the day after Halloween, still groggy from candy hangover, and turning to see the aisles stacked with white and red bunting and christmas trees shining in my jewish eyes.

Michelle, I hope you had something for them. And we get plenty of out of towners trick or treating. About every other year we have some residents who want Council to do something about it. I've come us with various schemes (like handing out wrist bands at the school and police station), but so far nobody wants to implement it.

Stewart, Sams Club has had Xmas decorations on sale for the past month. Although I don't really shop in malls, so I'm not able to see when they do the shift over. But, yeah, I could see how for some it could be even more annoying.
