I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

You know, my writer's group just finished doing a prompt on bad coffee. Wish I had this little gem before I wrote it. It would have been a whole other story!
Sorry I didn't have that encounter until today, Christine.
And while I didn't say this out loud, it was spoken very loud in my head which caused me to chuckle as the sales person went down the stairs (I had the fresh cup of tea).
Todd, and I'm sure today is a creamy soup day for you as well. Hope you all survive the snowstorm. Or as they're portraying it on The Weather Channel OMG, We're All Gonna Die in the Storm of the Century.

Another salesman down!
Well, he did think he should have right-of-way.
Aw, too bad. (No, I was actually nice and let him go by, I know it's uncharacteristic of me, but it's Xmas, I have some charity).
Heh, for some reason I was thinking soup. A nice mug of tomato would go well with those power point slides.
