I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Story Bone

From misreading my blog reader (I sometimes transfigure several lines of text into one mashed up text, it's my own reading disability).

"Reading at the speed of Star Trek."

I have no idea what it means, but it's pinging in the back of my head. Maybe it'll do something better for you.

The way some Next Generation episodes draaaaaaaaaag, especially in the first several seasons, it might mean you're reading verrrrrry slooooooooowly.

Sort of the equivalent of "smooth as a line of dialogue in a Star Wars movie," maybe?

Hey Eric, yes, the "As the Saucer Section Turns" episodes, I agree. And here I believe you're discussion Episodes 1-3, not so much the 4-6 (which were rewritten to varying degrees, which helped the dialog).
