I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Happy 4th

Finally back home after a very long, working weekend. This was family work, which is normally hard and dirty. This was no different. Spent the weekend in Columbus. Not doing anything fun, except for the "make it yourself" waffles for breakfast (at the motel).

But I spent the weekend with Bette, so that was good.

Spent way too much for food. Spent way too much on gas (driving around).

However, I do want to thank the good people at Columbus Colony House for their help. They're trying to put us into a bad position, but we're not letting them. However, they did have a sign language interpreter on staff (which helped immensely) and friendly residents of the apartments (who kindly smiled at the ignorant family members who don't know sign, and were patient in trying to explain things).

Hope your Fourth was good.
