I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Hey Steve, sorry to be away so long, but I was spending the last few months prepping White Cat Magazine (www.whitecatpublications.com). Now that it's up with the first issue, I can actually visit everyone again!

Hope you've been well. Much to catch up on and are you coming to this year's Conclave?

Hey Rick, no worries. When you put up the first issue I did provide a link from my linkee-poo. I don't know how you do it (finding the time). And I hope you have great success.

Right now, I'm taking a break from cons to focus on life and the writing. However, I have a feeling come the Fall I'm going to be itching to get out someplace. I'll probably go to Confusion again, but I'm debating if I want to be a presenter this year. I have a great time doing it, but I also like just enjoying the con experience. I'm also thinking heavily about Penguicon (because I've really wanted to go, and I know that I missed out on a lot this past year).

That said, I'm also struggling with the feeling of being a poser at cons. If I can finish up this rewrite, get back to new stuff, and start flushing the bushes for an agent I'll feel better about myself. Right now, life it too busy and I can only manage a few minutes each week to sneak in writing (which is soul deadening).

The cupcake looks squishy and pink and like a kitty. It must be a girl cupcake, right?

Sheila, it was actually that they were Hello Kitty cupcakes. I didn't quite expect to have Hello Kitty on the cupcakes.
