Linkee-poo it's a god awful small affair

Busy at the different jobs.

"Republican lawmakers are threatening to cut off U.S. funding for the World Health Organization’s cancer research program over its finding that the active ingredient in the herbicide Roundup is probably carcinogenic to humans." (Grokked from Chuck Wendig)

"Secretary of State Rex Tillerson sounded an alarm this week: The Russians are already meddling in the 2018 midterm elections." Gee, ya think? (Waves to all my Russian friends who have been quite for a few days - until this morning)

"The U.S. official in charge of protecting American elections from hacking says the Russians successfully penetrated the voter registration rolls of several U.S. states prior to the 2016 presidential election." We're at the "and the cat won't come down off the roof" stage. We'll get there.

"Collectively, the texts show the two officials disliked Trump and feared what he might do as president, and they freely intermingled talk of politics with talk of work. But the pair also seemed to harbor animosity for many other politicians, including Democrats, and even co-workers." But it's all about the president. Or at least, that's what Nunes and the rest want you to focus on. Because it's always about the poor, picked on conservatives. Talk about a victim mentality. Same as when the IRS supposedly picked on Tea Party groups applications for tax-exempt status. Never mind that the IRS flagged more "liberal" groups for scrutiny.
