What a field day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly saying, "hooray for our side"

Linkee-poo is counting the days.

A comet falls into the sun. Cool. Or Hot. Whichever.

Okay, I'm introducing a new term. When neo-cons are cornered in an argument and they resort to wheeling out the semi-desiccated Ronald Reagan by saying something close to, "But this is what Reagan did," I'm now going to call it, "Invoking the Reagan Shield." As in "ZOMG, we're under attack, Capt.!" "Raise the Reagan Shields."

So, after loosing their arguments, Conservatives what a do-over. Dear Conservatives and Tea Partiers, it's called "Federal Elections" and "Balance of Powers." They're amazing things. You might want to check them out.

I wonder if the Arnold Thing will get as much exposure in the press at John Edwards' scandal? Oh, who am I kidding. For the righteous, all things are correct. For the rest of us, we're just dirty slobs trying to johns as much outa the Government as we can get. I keep forgetting that.

It seems funny to watch as Gringrich tries to claw back to the center, how those on the Right look to take him down. I would say it's a false flag operation to make him look moderate (classic Tar Baby ploy), but I don't think any of them on that side have that amount of savvy.

Don't forget, only 4.5 more days to get right with God, however you perceive him, Hairy Thunderer or Cosmic Twinkie.

Be assured that a walk through the ocean of most souls would scarcely get your feet wet.

Vince, you're wreaking a major premise of the novel I want to write. Quit harshing my mellow, man. :)

Well, as you can tell, like Janeice, I'm pretty sure I'll be here on Sunday, Rapture or no.

Democrats in WI want a do-over too. Everybody wants a do-over when they don't get their own way.

As for Ahnold, I suspect that now that he's out of politics, the story will get some play and disappear. Edwards had the nerve to run for office again - that's what kept the story going (well, that and he LIED to cover it up. Stupid.)

There's a great joke going around Orthodox circles right now. If you're on the Julian Calendar, you have an extra 2 weeks to get right with God.

Ok, you have to be Orthodox to be amused by that.

Cassie, yes they do, and their using the balance of power options they have. Same as those of us in Ohio when it comes to SB 5. We're not trying to subvert the very document we claim to revere.

And Arnold also lied during his election as governor (he sired the child before he ran, and he was challenged about it during the elections). I'll also point out that there was a lot of talk in conservative circles about amending the Constitution to allow Arnold to run for President.

And, yes, I chuckled at the the Orthodox joke.

Hey, I'm just thrilled that Newt the Nut seems to be sinking his own battleship! Didn't even take a week. BWAHAHAHAHHA!

WendyB, yep, that didn't take long did it? (I have a link about that already in today's linkee-poo) I wonder when he'll go up against Limbaugh, and then have to apologize, all while trying to explain how Rush really isn't a driving force in the Republican party.
