I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Linkee-poo has to turn my head until my darkness goes

Do I need to actually link to the tape of the recorded conversation between Billy Bush and Trump?

The Wonder Woman stamps are here. (Grokked from Toni Thayer)

Teenagers risky behavior may help with them learning the world faster.

What could it hurt to not pass an actual appropriations bill? "About 12,500 union coal miner retirees and their dependents are receiving letters warning them they'll lose their health benefits on Dec. 31 without congressional action." Yeah, it could hurt them.

On the lies and half truths surrounding how "smart" Trump is when it comes to his taxes and the conservative response. The Republican led Congress, dicking with people's lives since 2010 (this time around).

"'After all is said and done, when this partisan investigation finds no wrongdoing by the organization, Connie Lawson and the Indiana State Police will have prevented 45,000 African Americans from voting in this year’s elections. That is why today we reported their outrageous actions to the Department of Justice.'" (Grokked from Jim Wright)

And in this year's CYA Award, first nominee: Gov. Scott Walker. It's so strange that just before the Wisconsin DMV had to report to a judge how they've implemented his orders on issuing voter IDs, of which all independent reports said was going abysmally, the Wisconsin State Police release a report of, yes, the DMV is fucking up. And Scotty says, "We'll figure out if this is a training issue or people not following the rules" (paraphrased) while he washes his hands.

"Because I have written critically about Trump, I have received innumerable death threats, sometimes just general invocations that I should die, sometimes more specific threats that I should be shot or 'lynched,' as one Trump fan wrote. I have been called 'like,' 'Jew' and 'anti-American Zionist,'… I have been told to go back where I came from, whatever that means. I have been called 'fag,' 'peso,' and once—in an email that made no sense—'nigger-lover.' One Trump fan mentioned he knew which schools my children attended, and correctly named them. Topping it off, some Trump fans have even gone after one of my sons online, although he knew enough to immediately block them." And then they sent him an epileptogenic video. These are the people who will feel they "win" if the Trumpster makes it to the White House. "That our country has reached this point, where the line between modern American political supporters and Hitler’s brownshirts is becoming thinner by the day, is unacceptable." (Grokked from Xeni Jardin)

What happens when those in the fold buck the base. "The Republican running for US Senate from Nevada was angrily booed at his own campaign rally today when he told the crowd that he could no longer support Donald Trump and that the GOP nominee should drop out of the race." (Grokked from Ferrett Steinmetz)

"Voters attending a fall festival in Elkhorn, Wis., on Saturday were disappointed — some downright hostile — that House Speaker Paul D. Ryan rescinded an invitation to Donald Trump to speak here after a recording emerged of the GOP presidential nominee making vulgar comments about women." (Grokked from Jason Sanford)

Tweet of my heart: ‏@danielradosh Tic Tac headquarters def getting a sympathy card from Skittles tomorrow (Grokked from Lisa N. Morton)
