I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Labor Day

Spent the weekend working at Mom's and sleeping. Yesterday, I don't think I was awake for more than 12 hours total. Feeling much better, though.

Still congested with the Con Crud.

Studying, reading, not so much with the writing. Hopefully more later.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, ConCrud just moved over to Atlanta this weekend.

I spent the weekend at DragonCon and now have a sore throat & congestion...hoping it's from exhaustion & dehydration & not from some crud going around here. Guess I'll know in the morning.

WendyB, oo, hope it's not the Con Crud. But, hey, I bet DragonCon was fantastic!

DragonCon was incredible! You've got to come down one year and spend the weekend with 30,000 of your closest friends...

I spent most of the time in the Space & Science track sessions, some of the smartest people from NASA, JPL, GA Tech and several of the LEO startups were the speakers. I was in geek heaven. Plus they had solar telescopes set up on the pool deck and with crystal clear weather and a very active sun (several ejections) over the weekend it was spectacular!

ConCrud seems to be a mild version so far, or maybe it was really a bad allergy attack, felt a bit better today and I've got the weekend to finish recovering. I better get better or my boss will never let me take another vacation day again if I come back sick!
