Just received my rejection email from Weird Tales. My Favorite War Stories isn't for them.
Ann thanked me for my patience. Ain't no problem, Ann. I'll let any editor take as long as they need to consider my manuscript. And Weird Tales is still on my list for submissions. Very definately on my list for submissions.
Time to look at other HP Lovecraftian markets.

Camille! I was just looking through your list of markets and running into the dread "no more than 5000 words" glass ceiling (WS is 6840 words).
Tomorrow I'll query duotrope and see what comes up.
Do you ever try Story Pilot? I think there's a way to enter specific wordcount as a search factor. Link on Littlebird.
