I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Davy stole a Xmas tree from K-Mart last night

Mary Gauthier's "Christmas In Paradise." If you ask me it's 1000x better than "Christmas Shoes" (which I just might have to take out an elf if I hear ever again).

Christmas in paradise under the Cow Key Bridge
where the warm breeze blows so nice
and the landlord forgives.
