I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

Singing Easter Carols

Well, spent the first hours of Easter shoveling the two-feet of snow off the driveway. There are pictures. I'll try and post them soon. Then to Mom's for most of the day, and then a late drive home. And this week is going to be crazy again, I just feel it. Hope all of our weeks go better this week. Let's all think good thoughts.

Did you get as much snow as Northern Vermont did? Guh. More snow. More shoveling. More dodging massive icicle bombs hurtling from roof edges.

I shoveled about two feet of snow off the driveway Sunday morning. There was about a foot from Friday night (the neighbor, bless his big snowblower, cleaned that off before I was up). The snow was melting, so it's hard to get a good reading, but it was snowing hard enough that even with the melt, I think on the roof and balconey/deck there was about 3.5 feet. Our snow bands persisted all through Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Never let up, and was pretty dense at times. I think if it were colder we would have had more than 4 feet.
