It was "Make the 'F' in 'Fairy' lowercase." The conversation was with a client about a wallpaper catalog (and if you want to know what design hell is, do a wallpaper catalog). I believe one of their product lines had fairies printed on it, so they wanted us to decapitalize the word where it appears in the description.
As the CSR was repeating the instructions (the mini cubicle farm I'm in now permits very little phone privacy), I started laughing. Other people asked what I found so funny. I said, "I believe (csr's name) just said, 'Make the effin' fairy lowercase.'" He then repeated it about two minutes later to wrap up the call. Everybody cracked up then.
We explained it to the CSR, who when he talked to the client next (remember when I said "design hell") which was 20 minutes later, the client also got a laugh out of it.
