Eric T. Reynolds posts that a new themed anthology is
now open for submissions. It's a part of the "Ruins" series that both Camille Alexa and Tobias Buckell (and a few other good names) have stories placed in previous editions. It's kind of a short deadline and pretty specific on theme, but having an open anthology is a good thing to pass on.

Be nice if we could view a larger version of the image. It's kind of hard to notice any details in the small image. But then I'm kinda visual that way
TWO new themed anthologies from Hadley Rille Books!!! Ruins Metropolis and Desolate Places.
And Mr. Reynolds has been excellent to do business with, may I say. So nice.
Cool! Are you going to submit something?
Ken, yeah, on the publisher's site there is a larger image, but it's still on the smallish side.
Camille, ooo, I'll have to look for that other one. Thanks. By his blog he does seem to be a nice guy.
Greeny, I've done a little thought on the character (who is she) and the setting (looks like an Egyptian Temple to me) and there's a little pinging in the back of my head. Sometimes that means there's a story. With the thoughts I've done I could probably get out an interesting story, but I've got other things to work on and I can wait to see if a better story comes along from the subconsciousness in the next week.
I really don't have anything out and done that would work. So it would require something brand new. Now, if the guidelines for Desolate Places are right, I may have something in the works for that one.
