I watch the ripples change their size
But never leave the stream
Of warm impermanence
And so the days float through my eyes
But still the days seem the same
And these children that you spit on
As they try to change their worlds
Are immune to your consultations
They're quite aware of what they're goin' through

A Domestic Coyote Xmas

Just checking back in, busy with domestic things. And to wish you a Merry Xmas, the Christmas Coyote:

He looks a little doughy there. Here is a crisper image.

Yes, the coyote bakes, and cooks. A versatile trickster he is.

Hope you all are having a good Xmas.

Ah, the Christmas Coyote.

Seems a lot like the Christmas Hedgehog, only much more edible.

Happy holidays!

That's a cool cookie cutter. Where'd you get it?

Sheila, and while it's less cute, it's also less prickly. Although I don't think Laura would like it as much (at least not as a sugar cookie).

Mattw, thanks. I think we got it form a vendor at a local outdoor fair called "Yankee Peddler." We bought it several years ago, although YP has a good tradition of keeping their vendors. So it was probably from the Little Fox Factory. I don't see the one we have, but they have another Coyote on their "Animals" page.

Camille, thanks. Good to see you back en communicado.
